Early Years and Now

Artemi Kyriacou, born in Manchester to Greek Cypriot parents. Moved to London in the 90’s.
She grew up with her families’ bespoke gents tailoring business, where she often watched her father layer precisely cut materials together to eventually make a bespoke made to measure suit to perfection. Learning that hard work, patience, passion, and an eye to detail led to rewarding results.

Artemi's earliest memories of where her food passion came from are of traveling to a farm, where her parents would take along a large milk churn to have it filled to the brim with raw milk. This would be the start of the process to make homemade halloumi. It was a fascinating process, to take a liquid and turn it into a solid, curds and whey, Halloumi and Anari.

Artemi's teenage years opened a door to the possibilities of going down a creative career path.  A local "Art and Foundation" course exposed her to many different creative subjects which led her to branch out into photography. This led to four more year's studying photography, two years at Mid-Chester college and then after securing a place at "Blackpool & The Fylde " college where she completed her Higher National Diploma and PQE in photography.

From a very young age, creativity has always been high on Artemi’s skill sets, her early years path led her to become a successful London based photographer.
