Heinz Bull's-Eye BBQ sauce shoot
Images shot for Kraft Heinz who are one of the largest food companies in the world.
The brief was to shoot a selection of recipe shots to go alongside the BBQ sauce bottle, the visual key word for food, propping and photography was "masculine".
The client and agency needed to have a film crew on site to make the most of the studio facilities, props, and overall creative team.
On the test day we needed to split a single room into two, so to have full light control over the two areas ready for the main shoot days, we were using flash equipment and the film crew were using continuous lighting techniques, we had to make sure our flash lighting and daylight did not spill into their space. We divided the studio into 2 using large movable floor to ceiling polystyrene boards, with the entrance to each space via a blackout door drape for easy access between the 2 spaces as well as the kitchen and client areas.
The Bull's-Eye BBQ Sauce selections we covered were: Original / Honey / Spicy Garlic / Spicy and Sweet / New York Steak House / Dark Beer / Roasted Onion / Smokey Chipotle Hot Sauce / Hickory Brown Sugar / Red Hot Chili / Sweet Whiskey / Smokey Bacon / Burger and Bold Spicy Texas
We had around 14 people on the shoot that ranged from the clients, directors, producers and the creative still' and moving shoot teams. The atmosphere was positively challenging but invigorating, deadlines were met, and I can happily say that it was a joy to work with such a wonderful set of individuals.
Food styling by Elaine Ngan and prop styling Victoria Firmston.
The client was very happy with the results, they have negotiated extra usage rights for the future.
Thank you all for a great production.

The shoot brief consisted of images for packaging, web and PR, including portrait shots of Didier himself.
The Images where shot over a few days, ranging from our studio as well as on location at Didier’s.
We set-up our location kit within the factory floor and so needed to be aware of our surrounding as the production of sweets went on as usual.
We captured patisseries being made, they all looked so delicious and it was fascinating to see how they were created.
Didier and his team were a great pleasure to work with, a very enjoyable shoot.
